PART   II

Creating Music
as an Empirical Process of Knowing

Consequently, creating music may be considered empirical only that the process of comprehension is pointed within: here, the empirical comprehension concerns the inside and not the outside.

So, empirically comprehending the outer musical reality only served to inspire the listener to empirically comprehend his own inner musical reality; and thus it served to comprehend his own inner, perfect, natural art of music.

In the process of creative music listening, "creating something new" is typically a "re-semblance," a "re-vival," a "re-calling into being," a "re-creating," a "fundamental realization."

Hence, creative music listening is that mechanism where the listener knows how to make the golden tree of music grow naturally and spontaneously out of his own inner perfect artistic potential, through the forces inherent in his natural musical potential; and he does so after an outside stimulation from the fertile ground of his innermost intuition: from the fertile ground of his innermost faculties of cognition. From the height of his pure self-awareness, he goes down to the world of his human feeling and understanding, and further down to the world of the musical sound-space or as a musician even further down to the acoustic space.
