The Music Listener
at the Origin of All Creative Thinking

Once the listener has reached the field of cosmic thinking, he has simultaneously attained the dimension of cosmic hearing.

In the musical force-field of the harmony he experiences the most elementary impulse of his musical hearing which turns out to be the very first, the initial, tone-endowing, tone-creative cosmic impulse of the musical force of forming.

By virtue of classical music, the field of inner-mental exper-ience is fathomed systematically – broadened, deepened.

While initially the listener appreciates the music as still being quite limited, during the process of gaining knowledge in music the structure of the composition begins to assume more and more comprehensive states of vibration in his mind.
Then, the aspects of space and time expand; the musical parameters strive apart more and more, yet converge at the same time.
The tones, motifs and sequences become more and more comprehensive and simultaneously more and more integrated.

Within the single tone, the single motif and the single sequence, but just as well within the entire musical thinking, space and time finally attain the value of unbounded infinity.

In this moment a space-time integration takes place; in the state of restful alertness the inward musician experiences the harmony and in it: the absolute "Now."

To the listener, in this moment past, present, and future merge into unity in the absolute "Now" and are perceived in the self-awareness as a natural union. Here, where the listener recognizes: "I am," where he truly awakens, the primary impulse of his individual creative force in the absolute "Now" operates with this initial original thought "I am."

On the level of cosmic thinking the listener experiences the origin of all creative thinking in the harmony.

From this height of human evolution all great composers created and create their immortal works.

And what was and is available to the great composers so far – that authentic experience of the truly first musical thought – is also available now to the music listener, to the music lover, to the musician, and to the music teacher.
